Yavuz began his AdvantageFirst Lending career as a Senior Mortgage Loan Originator, then quickly moved to leadership as a Sales Manager. With a primary duty to cultivate long-term relationships, he has strived to offer the best financial advice to his clients. Yavuz’s hard work, ethics, and deep knowledge in financial literacy have allowed him to help thousands of homeowners buy their first homes, as well as refinance.

How long have you been at AFL:
I started my career in March of 2021.
What is your role:
I started as a Loan Officer but in August, I got promoted to a Sales Manager position.
Before working here, what was an interesting job you had:
Before working here I worked in Aerospace Sales. I was 22 back then and I was responsible for government contracts in regard to aerospace parts. I visited many air bases and got a chance to work with high Military Officials. I primarily focused on F-16 Wing and Mechanical parts.
What has been your favorite part of working here:
My favorite part about working here is in relation to the company culture as well as the work life balance. The company culture allows me to come in every single day and give it my all. I feel like I am serving a bigger purpose and correcting the mistakes of others in the industry. While delivering excellent customer experiences I can make a living which allows me to have all the freedoms one can imagine.
If you could do any other job here what would it be:
My ultimate goal is to be with this company long term and build a career. I would like to one day become a Sales Director or a VP of Sales and take our company to the highest level of success while improving the lives of our employees and the experience of all homeowners.
What hobbies and interests do you have outside of work:
I am very active in the car community and have a passion for building cars specifically for drag racing as well as drifting. When I am not on the phone with customers or helping my loan officers you will find me working under the hood of my BMW M3 and my Nissan 350Z NISMO Track Car.
What is your hidden talent:
I am known for my intelligent hands. As in I can repair almost anything. When I was younger my family wanted me to become an engineer as I was able to fix almost anything around the house. I can almost take apart a whole car and put it back together.

I had open-heart surgery twice and I have my pilot’s license.
